Heading into Amsterdam I take an overnight bus and arrive at 5 or 6 am and get to a station on the outskirts of the city. Solo and heading to Amsterdam with no hostel booked and knowing nobody I’m a bit anxious after traveling non-solo for awhile. Curious) and she tells me it’s off tonight. Eventually, we leave and I get ready to head out to the recommend bar crawl. I get there a little late (who loses track of time in A-dam? My bus is to leave at 9am. I get a whole day to enjoy A-Dam. August 12, 2013.

If you did not know, and I think this is true, that Berlin is the official techno capital of the world right now. I’m sure if you know Berlin well enough you can escape it but I found it difficult. Anytime of the day the hostels playing it; 7am. Midnight, noon, go out to clubs it’s a given, you go to a cafe, techno, bars, techno. After 3 days you can’t even think straight, techno.
