All Saints, Chedgrave. Read the captions by hovering over the images, and click on them to see them enlarged. All Saints, Chedgrave. What a strange building this is! The fine Norman doorway sheltered by the porch contains a door labelled 1819 in ironwork Roman numerals, which is a nice touch. A faded plaque tells us that. Repaired and beautified AD 1819. Most unusually, there are more names on the Second Wolrd War memorial here than there are on the First World War memorial. One possibility is that t...

All Saints, Catfield. Read the captions by hovering over the images, and click on them to see them enlarged. All Saints, Catfield. A rather lurid purple light fills the space beneath the tower, but it is to the east you'll want to look anyway, because All Saints has one of those splendid Broadland screens described in the. The construction is rather more homely than that of some of its neighbours, but the painting is of high quality, and very unusual, as it features panels of sixteen Kings. Other curiosi...

St Peter and St Paul, Brockdish. Read the captions by hovering over the images, and click on them to see them enlarged. St Peter and St Paul, Brockdish. When I first visited this church in 2005, it was with something of a sinking heart to arrive at the third church in a row that was locked without a keyholder notice. Today, nothing could be further from the truth. In the south porch there is a large notice now which reads. Come in and enjoy your church!

Outdoor Spirituality in Norfolk and further afield. East Anglian Pilgrimage Network. Churches Together on the Broads. Time Out - Occassional Thoughts. Friday, April 02, 2010. Streams of cars speed down Kings Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Way everyday. High above the traffic a ruined church has paid witness for a thousand years and more. For decades it has been drawing me like a magnet. So on a sunny Spring day I finally found my way up the hill. They are also displayed at strategic places around the farm .

Norfolk Pilgrim: Outdoor Spirituality?
http://norfolkpilgrim.blogspot.com/p/outdoor-spirituality.html
Outdoor Spirituality in Norfolk and further afield. East Anglian Pilgrimage Network. Churches Together on the Broads. Time Out - Occassional Thoughts. I was fed up with everything churchy! If Christianity is following Jesus Christ, then it wasn't about following him into musty old buildings, well not in the beginning anyway! No just an observation! You can measure the Christianity of individuals and organisations by their Christlikeness. How do they love? How do they relate to truth? How humble are they?
Norfolk Pilgrim: Francis, Thomas and my Canine Friends

Outdoor Spirituality in Norfolk and further afield. East Anglian Pilgrimage Network. Churches Together on the Broads. Time Out - Occassional Thoughts. Friday, November 30, 2012. Francis, Thomas and my Canine Friends. And probably in a different way cats! Well anyhow I've often thought it would be interesting to hear a discussion between Francis and Aquinas. Norfolk Cider Company established in 1987, are now the oldest established cider makers in Norfolk.
The Norfolk Cider Company, established in 1987, are now the oldest established cider makers in Norfolk,. Following the closure of William Gaymer and Sons, where one of our staff worked. They continue a tradition in Norfolk that stretches back to at least 1204. Cider made traditionally in the Eastern region comes from culinary and dessert apples,. And is quite different from the West Country, where cider apples are used. It lacks the astringentcy of West Country ciders, and is more like an apple wine.
