Vegan Princess in an Omni Kingdom. Adventures of a vegan girl living in an omni world. Poppy Birthday Dinner September 23, 2013. 8212; bookie85 @ 11:11 AM. This past July for my birthday, my Aunt K treated me to a wonderful birthday dinner at Poppy. We also ordered pakoras to start, and they were really good, slightly spicy but not overwhelmingly so. Lovage story (and pakoras). Next up was my custom vegan thali, the main event. This was so much food that I couldn’t finish it, but it was all very we...

The Veracious Vegan: Sutra, Seattle
http://www.theveraciousvegan.com/2011/11/sutra-seattle.html
A foodie perspective of vegan cuisine, chocolat, and vino. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. As I was researching restaurants in Seattle while I was planning my trip, I came across Sutra. The third course was a purple potato gnocchi with capers, parsley and smoked chanterelles in a garlic hempseed sauce. It was served over a bed of kale and Black Cherokee heirloom tomatoes. Woah - there were way too many flavors in this dish! Again, way too much going on! 1605 N. 45th St. Seattle, WA 98103. Ive never been to ...

Holiday Flurries | Boston Translation
https://bostontranslation.wordpress.com/2012/12/20/holiday-flurries
Finding out what it all means. December 20, 2012. I got my holiday cards out this week. I couldn’t believe how many more I had to do this year. I feel very thankful to know so many lovely people. I don’t send as much snail mail out as I would like to and I am going to try to change that next year. It would be a great resolution. Speaking of which, I’ve been mulling over some potential goals for 2013. One thing that has me more focused on bettering myself is this new app. So make sure to set aside the tim...

Finding out what it all means. Newer posts →. September 5, 2012. Molly and I just returned home from visiting friends and family in the Peachtree State. My parents live in Georgia so we travel down there about once a year, usually in the summer time. It’s always great to be able to recharge my dirty south batteries. My soul was ready for the syrupy drawls, the open pastures and some gravy in the land where tea flows like wine. If you can get them fresh, they’re such a treat! And now, no tomato is safe!

Vegan Princess in an Omni Kingdom. Adventures of a vegan girl living in an omni world. VVC 2013 Photo Essay September 2, 2013. Vida Vegan Con 2013. 8212; bookie85 @ 5:46 PM. Hello Well, it has been a while hasn’t it? Pretty classic move for me, to attend a blogging conference (Vida Vegan Con) in May, come away completely inspired and blown away and “recommitted” to blogging, and then…. not blog until September. There was mac and cheese at White Owl Social Club. There was photo booth fun. PS September is ...

But What Should I Eat? Answering the question, one meal at a time. My Story and My Mission. Who Am I Exactly? Friday, August 12, 2011. Plum Vegan Bistro - Seattle, WA. Yes, I'm still alive. I say this every time, I know, but I've neglected the blog once again while I attempt to make sense of the craziness that is life. I'm still without a new job, which brings both anxiety about money and the childlike excitement of having four day weekends! Upon arriving, it was clear to me that this was the most upscal...

Chocolate Chia Pudding and Other Sugar-Free, Flour-Free Desserts. January 23, 2012. Add to Recipe Box. Keeping the sugary stuff out of the house has been even more important since I resolved at the beginning of the year to cut out sugar and flour and increase the amount of vegetables I eat. If you’ve been following my KISSS plan. The same may also be said for sugar-free sweeteners like stevia. One day I got the craving for a chocolaty dessert and was tempted to make my standard fat-free chocolate pudding.
