Not All About Me. Random jottings – no diatribes. August 26, 2013. I’m learning Latin and it really hurts; a mental triathlon. After mastering all the conjugations I felt chirpy, as if that was the hard bit over with, then I turned to the next chapter and there they all were again, to be learned in the passive voice. Like wading through treacle. I went down to the allotment and hacked at thistles. Every blog ends with a poem, a few minutes of a still, small voice. A poem should be palpable and mute.
