http://timandheatherwhittaker.blogspot.com/2014/08/my-40-hour-adventure.html
Daily Drawings from the Boys. August 13, 2014. My 40 Hour Adventure. It had been over two years since I last saw my grandparents. A lot has changed since then (mainly having Isaac). Because my parents were going to be down in LA visiting my grandparents, we decided that Isaac and I should visit so that my grandparents could meet their youngest great grandchild. This past Saturday at 5:30 am, Isaac and I were picked up by my father-in-law and taken to the airport. Four Generations. Interesting note: I...

Whittaker Ramblings: Life with Boys
http://timandheatherwhittaker.blogspot.com/2014/08/life-with-boys.html
Daily Drawings from the Boys. August 14, 2014. Small boys become big men through the influence of big men who care about small boys. Sometimes being a brother is even better than being a superhero. Of all the animals, the boy is the most unmanageable. Boys are beyond the range of anybody's sure understanding, at least when they are between the ages of 18 months and 90 years. There comes a time in every rightly constructed boy's life that he has a raging desire to go somewhere and dig for hidden treasure.

Whittaker Ramblings: An August Date Night
http://timandheatherwhittaker.blogspot.com/2014/08/an-august-date-night.html
Daily Drawings from the Boys. August 23, 2014. An August Date Night. Yep, I was a cross-eyed fairy who had a photo-bombing shrewd and knavish sprite behind her. When I was looking into date ideas for August, I came across the Portland Actors Ensemble. This year's production was A Midsummer's Night Eve. I knew that I had found a winner of a date idea! We attended their last evening show (the play does run late into August, but starts at 3 pm. No thank you! It was a riot! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Whittaker Ramblings: Grandma
http://timandheatherwhittaker.blogspot.com/2015/02/grandma.html
Daily Drawings from the Boys. February 27, 2015. This morning, I was woken up with a phone call. It was the. Phone call that I knew was coming, but wasn't looking forward to hearing. At 4:53 this morning, my sweet grandma went to be with her Savior. While I am so glad that she isn't suffering with dementia, I am heartbroken at her passing. Now that the day is winding down to a close, I am able to open up this box of emotions and sift through my memories of her. I remember walking with Grandma to the book...

http://timandheatherwhittaker.blogspot.com/2013/04/a-trip-to-aquarium.html
Daily Drawings from the Boys. April 20, 2013. A Trip to the Aquarium. This past Wednesday was my birthday, so to celebrate we drove to the Portland Aquarium to see some fish (but not eat them as Beniah kept insisting on the drive down). All morning Elijah chattered, "I so happy! I didn't get to touch one. Then it was off to see some more fish and other underwater creatures. Elijah is looking at a seahorse). Garden eels. Weird looking creatures, but interesting nonetheless). Tim and Heather Whittaker.

Whittaker Ramblings: Half a Year
http://timandheatherwhittaker.blogspot.com/2014/06/half-year.html
Daily Drawings from the Boys. June 2, 2014. I can hardly believe it. My baby is now 6 months old. Gone is the quiet, little baby that would sleep all day long. Now, Isaac is up and watching everything. That his brothers are doing. To be a part of their fun. To be a part of their fun! This month has seen a huge leap in development in Isaac. Not only has he popped through two teeth. Musical frogs make excellent teething toys.). As does Nerd Mickey.). Isaac still struggles with forward motion, though. The W...
