The Cold Cold North: my new project
http://thecoldcoldnorth.blogspot.com/2011/01/my-new-project.html
The Cold Cold North. Thursday, January 20, 2011. I have a new project that I've been thinking about for years and I am really excited to have finally started it! As most of you know, I have voice problems caused by my cancer treatments fourteen years ago. Since then, I have been very interested in the science and culture of voice. I feel like voice is overused as a metaphor, but rarely considered as part of our physical body. How does our voice work? What happens when it fails? January 20, 2011 at 5:26 PM.

Baker's Son: April 2013
http://bakerson.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 20, 2013. For no particular reason yesterday, as it is not something I have ever done, I felt prompted to call Nova (a radio station) to offer a correction (they thought Alex Kingston was a dude). And when I did, they gave me free tickets to SupaNova (our version of ComicCon) as well as free entry to Dreamworld SupaNova after dark. It was only two tickets to Dreamworld, but I wasn't even able to wake Will, so I ended up taking Justice myself. Free is very cool! Saturday, April 20, 2013.

Baker's Son: Another day at work...
http://bakerson.blogspot.com/2013/04/another-day-at-work.html
Friday, April 5, 2013. Another day at work. Justice came and helped me with deliveries last night. We stayed in the city once we finished and visited the museum to see the dinosaur exhibit that is closing soon and also went to the science centre. Which was a HIT. Of course, future Doctor McPhail had to do the giant body puzzle. There were some interesting exhibits about light and illusion. As well as some great puzzles. And a giant lightning ball! But he particularly liked the shadow display.

The Cold Cold North: August 2009
http://thecoldcoldnorth.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
The Cold Cold North. Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Ok, just one new development. This is our new little pookie, set to arrive at the beginning of March. I am in love with it already and could probably stare at this picture full-time. We're hoping that the winter weather will have mellowed before its arrival so that our little Canuck won't freeze solid. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Night at The Westerner in President-Elect Trump's America. Letter #93- More Amazing Colleagues. I've been expecting you!

The Cold Cold North: October 2010
http://thecoldcoldnorth.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
The Cold Cold North. Monday, October 4, 2010. My baby, my self. Later, while taking a shower I realized that I am the one with the scrape on her finger. I apparently don't know the difference between my baby and my self any more. I'm pretty sure I could find a bunch of advice about how to break baby's attachment to comfort objects like the pacifier, or a blanket, or a stuffed animal. What I want is advice about how to create. I'm not a monster) object, please let me know. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Cold Cold North: the final list: 2010 in TV watching
http://thecoldcoldnorth.blogspot.com/2011/01/final-list-2010-in-tv-watching.html
The Cold Cold North. Saturday, January 15, 2011. The final list: 2010 in TV watching. Ok, it's a little late to be making a 2010 end-of-year list, but lisa b. asked and how can I refuse? Community (if you haven't seen this, you must! Best tv out there). Caprica (I just want this to be better than it is. I miss BSG. tears). Being Human (which is so, so good. and now there is going to be a lame U.S. version because it is apparently difficult to understand those British accents). Top Chef Just Desserts.

The Cold Cold North: 2010 Book List
http://thecoldcoldnorth.blogspot.com/2010/12/i-love-to-read-end-of-year-lists.html
The Cold Cold North. Friday, December 31, 2010. I love to read end-of-year lists. I love them especially when they are written by friends (and because of this, lisa b. is my favorite person right now) but I love all end-of-year lists even if they are about things that I really don't care anything about. I also love lisa b. right now because she tweeted this aggregate of end-of-year lists. And it has been entertaining me for days:. Visual Rhetoric: A Handbook. Crocheting Adventures with Hyperbolic Crochet.

The Cold Cold North: December 2009
http://thecoldcoldnorth.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
The Cold Cold North. Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Too Many Students in College? So, I know you've all been waiting anxiously for my continued discussion on this topic. You probably had a difficult time eating all of that Thanksgiving pie because of the anticipation (by the way, at my Thanksgiving I learned that a food baby and a real baby cannot coexist inside me). Or would they prefer that they could pursue a more "vocational" career, but feel stuck in college because of its acquired/ perceived status?
