Each year on New Year’s Eve the Japanese village of Oga carries out an elaborate ritual involving demonic-like ogre figures, the Namahage. A Scary Little Christmas. Christmas – the Other Halloween. Who writes this stuff? December 23, 2013. If you think you can avoid The Karakoncolos by avoiding street corners, you are sadly mistaken! At night, he waits outside of houses. Imitating the voice of a loved one in distress, or sometimes transforming into the guise of a little girl, he lures people outside and places them in a trance, making them immobile. In result, The Karakoncolos’ intended victim freezes to death. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

SPOOKY LITTLE GIRL: Halloween in March: Halloween Club's Spookshow 3
http://spookylittlegirllikeyou.blogspot.com/2015/03/halloween-in-march-halloween-clubs.html
Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Halloween in March: Halloween Club's Spookshow 3. We didn't stay long - because it was hot, and because we couldn't resist the siren song of the nearby In-N-Out - but Mr. Spooky and I had a ton o' seasonally inappropriate fun at Halloween Club. I also received a flyer for what is probably the most extreme and controversial haunt in the world (barring some sort of real-life Hostel. Type situation), San Diego's McKamey Manor. I want no part of those. I mean, right? Real Life) Hos...

2016 in Review | Keeper of my Keys
https://keeperofmykeys.wordpress.com/2016/12/31/2016-in-review
Keeper of my Keys. A Norse polytheist walking with Sigyn. December 31, 2016. I’m not going to split this up into good / bad because even ‘negative’ events can provide insight or propel something good along. Somewhat chronological. / Long post/. Our dog Blossom died of a heart attack right before I had to go back to campus for the start of the spring semester. I tried a different antidepressant at the start of the year (compared to the fall semester and ending 2015), but it didn’t really do anything.
