Buying shares - Quaecunque

Buying shares - Quaecunque. Little mirrors one and all. Partly as a response to the potential bids for Cadbury (and the fact that. Had bought shares in them so at least she could say No to a takeover, however ineffectual that no might be) I've been looking into ways to buy shares. I should probably add a disclaimer here that this is not financial advice, this is not reliable and you'd be a fool to let me invest your money :) I will now return you to more interesting fare. Also lost on buying some tech st...

I started with field mushrooms in a filo pastry case and creamy garlic sauce, followed by a heaped carvery plate - lamb and beef, and they also had turkey - with all the usual trimmings, including some honey-roasted parsnips. Maxine started with a seafood medley with rather too intact squid (or were they octopodes? For desert she chose strawberries and cream and I had a chocolate and amaretto torte. It was all delicous. One thing though, book ahead as the restaurant is quite small. Post a new comment.

The Cat Inn, Enville. Enville, for those of you who don't know, is a pretty little village on the road out from Stourbridge to Bridgnorth. It has about four houses, a church, a pub and a brewery. Anyway, one summer's day I was out there having my half of Enville White with my friend Marc, basking in the summer sun, and I caught a whiff of something very lovely coming out of one of the outbuildings. On further investigation it proved to be sea bass wafting from a restaurant with a fantastic. The bill (inc...

Bistro Lyonnais, St Mary's Row, Moseley, Birmingham. Bistro Lyonnais occupies a small shop front in a prime location in Moseley Village. i.e. it’s pretty conveniently located for the city’s trendy young things. When the food eventually did turn up it was greeted enthusiastically. The portions seemed to be more than adequate, and I think everyone was happy with how it tasted. My frogs’ legs were slightly on the salty side, but then I tend to find that of French cookery generally so I suppose it go...Not a...

Wheelers of St James, London. Wheelers serves fish, almost exclusively certainly I don’t remember seeing a non-fish main course, although there are terrestrial starters. I plumped for the Mosaic of game, with truffle. A coarse game terrine, edged with a long slice of fine smoked bacon, it was absolutely delicious. Trying a little of. Post a new comment. The Chilston Park Country House Hotel, Lenham, Kent. I proceeded to the drawing room to meet up with the family, and must confess that I've seen a number of stately homes more poorly decorated! We were given an aperitif and canapes whilst we looked at the menu; and whilst the staff were attentive, the service was unhurried throughout. Our orders were taken and we were shown to our table, which was in a similarly impressive room. All in all it was a fabulous place, with food as well presented as it was co...

The Green Dragon, Sambourne, Warwickshire. I've been a bit slack and not reviewed the last three or four places I've been to, but I think this place deserves special mention. The service was fab and friendly throughout: although it was accurate it couldn't be called slick, and was therefore exactly what I feel suits a country pub of that sort. the waitress was also quite cute, which always helps. :-). Afterwards. Highly recommended. Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. Post a new comment.

Can I say in advance this was NOT the place to come whilst trying to stick. To a vegetarian diet. We had been sticking to a non-meat diet but had to. Let it go for the night. Also it is not cheap.
