This is not a wedding blog. Here’s the basic plan for the day. Everyone is welcome to come and go as they please. 11:00am Guided hike with Ranger Jeff. Come see where a major in playing will get you! Jeff has learned a lot about the human and natural history of Shevlin Park–come listen as he interprets the area. There will be a “novice” length for non-hikers, and a longer version available for those who want a bit of exercise. We’re excited to have Old Wave. Play for us all. 4 pm into the night: Hang out.

This is not a wedding blog. Was born in Seattle, WA and grew up (at least a little) in Portland, OR. Was born in Loma Linda, CA but lived in Coquille, OR from the time she was two until she went away to college in New York City. 1997, working at Coffee People in the Portland International Airport when Kate took a year off from school. January 19, 1998 during a MLK-day ski trip to Mt. Bachelor. Banned early on by Kate, who hates the idea of a proposal and wanted a mutual decision arrived at mutually.

The ceremony, performed by Justice of the Peace Andrea Shartel, was neither mushy nor religious. In lieu of a reception, a not-a-wedding party will be held on September 14th in Bend.
