Road Trip #20 – Crater Lake National Park. August 10, 2015. The final stop on a grand Western USA odyssey spanning several weeks in May-June 2014. Crater Lake is a most amazing natural wonder, completely enclosed its only source of water is from snow and rainfall. Road Trip #19 Lassen Volcanic National Park. August 10, 2015. After leaving Yosemite National Park, we headed north and stopped at Lake Tahoe briefly before driving all day to get near Lassen Volcanic National Park. We only had about 5 1/2 hours to explore the next day, so we kept close to the road. But, what an amazing place! Now using the Sony RX10 Mark II. August 11, 2015. Sony RX10 Mark II. In May 2014, I made the leap from the Canon 60D APS-C body and lenses to the smaller Sony RX10 bridge camera. I have been extremely happy with the decision, and many thousands of shutter clicks later, I sold off my entire Canon collection of bodies and lenses! GPS (I use the Geotag Photos app on iOS to upload log tracks into Lightroom instead). Timelapse & Slow Motion Video (long timelapse is too cumbersome in post, so I use iPhone 6).
