My year in the Wilderness. I guess I forgot to point out why my title is one year in the wilderness. this base is on the edge of what is known as the Ventana Wilderness in California. Which is an area of National Forest and mountains to the west of Big Sur. You can learn more about this region by visiting http:/ www.ventanawild.org/. There is a road called Nacimiento Ferguson that runs through the wilderness to the coast, it is an awesome sight to see the ocean from the edge of the mountains!

Blowing stuff up is the most fun and if it actually serves a purpose.well that is even better! In BNCOC, I refreshed myself with explosives training and got to get my hands on a lot of C4, TNT and Dynamite!
