AM Squared: On Pause...
http://annamcleod.blogspot.com/2012/12/on-pause.html
Wednesday, December 19, 2012. I've hit the pause button on this blog because I've run out of room to post pictures with Blogger (the hosting site). I guess that's what happens when I have been writing on this blog for almost 7 years. My Okra Hill blog. Still has plenty of room but I haven't used MY time lately to update it consistently either. So for now, no update.just enjoying life with my boys (including Ashley). Posted by Anna M. Didnt even know there was a limit! Merry Christmas to you and your guys!

That New House: January 2011
http://thatnewhouse.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
You know that new house on the hill? Monday, January 24, 2011. Almost insulated and sided. The HardiePlank is basically done except for the exterior trim. I keep waiting for the MiraTec columns to get here for the porches.the 2x4s that are holding up the roof look like they're getting tired of waiting on their replacements (but I've been told they're much stronger than they look). I haven't posted one of these views in a while- this is the angle you will see when you drive up to the house. Nope A vent ho...

That New House: May 2011
http://thatnewhouse.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
You know that new house on the hill? Saturday, May 14, 2011. The Treatment of Windows. But now we have time to install something more permanent. Here are the bamboo shades I've chosen for the downstairs bedrooms. I love them! They add warmth to the rooms but don't take away from the beauty of those large windows. The guest bedroom's large windowseat window is trickier. I plan to buy curtains of some sort but for now, this tablecloth works as a swag. Posted by Anna M. Friday, May 6, 2011. Posted by Anna M.

That New House: February 2011
http://thatnewhouse.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
You know that new house on the hill? Monday, February 28, 2011. Still hunting for the backsplash subway tile. That all said, I did find a very close runner-up for the tile this weekend while my husband and I enjoyed a little mini vacation from the kids. This tile is over a century old, however, so who knows where it was made. And where did I see it? Oh and we're going with Black Impala granite for our countertops (and a pecan topped island). That New House: Happy Soon-to-be Summer from That New House (and farewell)
http://thatnewhouse.blogspot.com/2011/06/happy-soon-to-be-summer-from-that-new.html
You know that new house on the hill? Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Happy Soon-to-be Summer from That New House (and farewell). With all that said, I have reached a point where I'm ready to close the chapter on the That New House blog. We're moved in and the decisions we make from here on are more personal preferences that suit our family than anything. I'm always happy to talk about our process and the house so please contact me either via email or by leaving a comment with a post (I read them all). It fits o...

That New House: Totin' Around a Clawfoot
http://thatnewhouse.blogspot.com/2011/01/totin-around-clawfoot.html
You know that new house on the hill? Friday, January 14, 2011. Totin' Around a Clawfoot. This morning we took the boys on a field trip to get Krispy Kreme doughnuts and a clawfoot tub. What a combination! We chose the tub on the left (below). For $250, it seemed like a good deal (especially when you consider that a new clawfoot. For some reason, when the tub was put into the truck, I immediately thought of a pig laying on its back. HA! Posted by Anna M. Thanks for stopping in- and providing your thoughts!

That New House: Finding the perfect plan
http://thatnewhouse.blogspot.com/2010/10/finding-perfect-plan.html
You know that new house on the hill? Sunday, October 10, 2010. Finding the perfect plan. Some people have decided things like their weddings, unborn children's names and dream house plans since they were young. I am not one of those people. Ashley and I got engaged and were married within three months (and we had a fantastic wedding thanks to our parents- and not having to deal with the stress of agonizing over decisions for months). We even named unnamed plans: Master Master. And Red Roof Inn. I had my ...
