June 5th, 2009. This cheered me up a bit:. Angle Resolved Spin Polarised Inverse Photo Emission Spectroscopy. 2009-06-09 08:58 pm (UTC). How many guesses did you type in before you got a hit? 2009-06-15 11:21 am (UTC). Reminiscent of A.R.S.E. C.R.A.C.K. from Inferno. Powered by LiveJournal.com.

March 13th, 2009. For those who like that sort of thing (I'm looking at you. And haven't heard of Girl Talk. I am currently enjoying Feed The Animals. The entire album is broken down in the link; it's not just a sequential mix with some mashups, it's a patchwork of nothing but overlaid samples. I particularly liked. 2:47 - 3:39 Bubba Sparxxx featuring Ying Yang Twins and Mr. Collipark - "Ms. New Booty". 2:55 - 3:30 Dexys Midnight Runners - "Come On Eileen". 2:57 - 3:39 Bubba Sparxxx - "Heat It Up".

Reading Present - Postironic Brain

Reading Present - Postironic Brain. Feb 13th, 2010 02:19 pm. Unforeseen positive side effect of becoming a parent: I've become a reader of books again. In fact I've probably read more novels in the past three weeks than I did in quite a few of the years. Of my late-twenties-early-thirties (a somewhat shameful statistic). Here's some reviews, in easy-to-swallow capsule form. Outside The Dog Museum. The Languages of Pao. I never did get Zelazny, though I know many who do. 2010-02-14 10:31 am (UTC). I dimly...

It's A Long Way To Itinerary - Postironic Brain. It's A Long Way To Itinerary. Jul 12th, 2010 11:54 pm. I do my daily wuthering - most of it about boardgames, Primeval and countries of the world beginning with A, uninterestingly enough - over on. Now, but it seems like. Is still the place to say:. People who live in Britain! For three weeks in August-September I, and my lovely wife and adorable child, may be passing through a town near you! Jump on a plane in Vancouver, British Columbia. Drop by to see.

Friday music - R..

Friday music - R. Jun 11th, 2010 12:28 pm. I use Spotify a fair bit atm for checking half known bands and creating playlists and generally trying to fit together some of the jigsaw that is my musical predilections (best to avoid the word "taste" perhaps). Also I "discovered" (in that dozens of people must have mentioned them, and I've probably heard quite a few tracks in passing, but not systematically) Dresden Dolls earlier, so thought I'd make something around them. So here's a couple of Spotify links.

Mass effect - Vanderbilt and the Yeggman. Vipers. Vigor, the Hammersmith wonder.

Vanderbilt and the Yeggman. Vipers. Vigor, the Hammersmith wonder. 16th Dec, 2013 at 6:13 PM. One of the things I love about English is the quirks of its structure which native speakers aren't consciously aware of, but which bedevil learners. An example is the way it handles mass and count nouns. Maybe you got taught this sort of thing at school, but I never did: so here it is now, some actually useful grammar. Some of them can actually be pluralized (eg. rain is generally a mass noun but one can als...

March 31st, 2009. Slashdot: The Manly Netbook. In particular this comment. Reminded me of last weeks post by BikeSnonNYC. Concerning a hateful skit on cyclists by a Wisconsin Radio station. That's more homophobic that anti-cycling. BikeSnob in turn links to probably my favourite Onion headline. Check out the Harley Cat at the bottom of the BikeSnob article anyway. 2009-03-31 11:30 pm (UTC). Harley cat is Not Best Pleased. Powered by LiveJournal.com.
