This Way to the Clubhouse...: Four Topps
http://clubhousekaz.blogspot.com/p/my-topps-sets.html
This Way to the Clubhouse. Just another baseball card blog. Since 2012. When I first started collecting baseball cards as a kid, the Topps sets from 1987 to 1990 were my sweet spot. Sure, this time frame also happens to fall within the scope of the "junk wax" era, but who cares about that? These cards are - and always will be - treasured parts of my collection, no matter what the price guides may show. With that loving notion in mind, and with the assistance of Random.org. Winner: '88 Rick Sutcliffe.

This Way to the Clubhouse. Just another baseball card blog. Since 2012. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down? Some very interesting, albeit disheartening news from the Topps camp, as reported by the folks at Beckett News. Heritage High Numbers is ditching the expensive box set and returning to the expensive pack/hobby box format. Click this link to read the full account over at Beckett: STORY. More players, more shiny cards, more relics/autos. Okay, that's all fine and good. At least with th...

This Way to the Clubhouse...: October 2014
http://clubhousekaz.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
This Way to the Clubhouse. Just another baseball card blog. Since 2012. Friday, October 31, 2014. Twas the day before Halloween when I came home from work was greeted with a pile of mail on the kitchen table. Included therein was a PWE from Pat of Hot Corner Cards. Which meant I was in store for a few great Mets cards. I didn't realize this card had made the cut when Topps did its 2001 Archives set, but I'm glad it did! Addition to my Horizontal Heroes frankenset. Lastly, my seminal Jon Matlack card!

Oh, and here are some sets I'm currently chasing. [Ed. Note: Numbers that are underlined. Denote a pending acquisition.]. 2014 TOPPS: '89 MINI. This is...

http://clubhousekaz.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
This Way to the Clubhouse. Just another baseball card blog. Since 2012. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Zistle Me, Again. I'm up to three trades on the Zistle. Website, and all three have been terrific! I'll take this opportunity to recap my second foray into Zistle trading, which was an exchange with member BucCollector. Gotta be, right? It's certainly the dustiest photo. I mean, it looks like the General Lee just peeled away. Probably not the flashiest or most unique, I was still drawn to this John Cangel...

http://clubhousekaz.blogspot.com/2015/08/red-hot.html
This Way to the Clubhouse. Just another baseball card blog. Since 2012. Monday, August 3, 2015. After sweeping the first-place Washington Nationals over the weekend, the Mets are the talk of New York! Sure, the Yankees have a better record and are comfortably atop the AL East, but who cares about them? Talk about a snooze party! In Sunday night's 5-2 victory, young right-hander Noah Syndergaard was brilliant (again! August 3, 2015 at 4:58 PM. Much like with the Bills, I refuse to get optimistic about the...

This Way to the Clubhouse. Just another baseball card blog. Since 2012. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. The Trade that Wasn't. By now you know the story. In fact, you're probably sick of reading/hearing about it. Like God, baseball works in mysterious ways. Welp, there isn't anything mysterious about Shane of Shoebox Legends. Fame He's simply a top-shelf dude. The guy has been consistently pumping out PWEs chock-full-of Mets to my mailbox for the past year or so. I have (and love) the base version of this car...
