I'm sure some of you are saying, "Wow, I didn't know Deb played the guitar! Well, I don't really, I'm barely a few steps ahead of these kids, and they are gaining fast! Here's our class picture (Is, the boy on the left is way to cool to smile with the rest of us! I am so excited to see you updating your blog! September 17, 2009 at 10:39:00 PM PDT. I moved to T...

On the Far Side of the Sea: A Great Day!

http://onthefarsideofthesea.blogspot.com/2009/10/great-day.html

On the Far Side of the Sea. Excerpts of my Life in Thailand. Monday, October 12, 2009. I feel like it's sometimes rare to be able to say that.to have a day where I am just able to celebrate what God is doing without noticing all the apparent gaps or holes. Without focusing on what would have made it an even better day. But Friday was a great day! As she restarts her life.I pray that God will do above and beyond what we could hope for Mo Lor. Yes, Friday was a really, really, really great day! Compassion ...

On the Far Side of the Sea: Learning the Local Craft

http://onthefarsideofthesea.blogspot.com/2009/08/learning-local-craft.html

On the Far Side of the Sea. Excerpts of my Life in Thailand. Thursday, August 13, 2009. Learning the Local Craft. Orathai taught Stacy and I how to weave reeds into a placemat or a large bowl shaped cover to go over food so that the flies don't get into it. Here's a picture - to prove I really did it! Now here's Orathai fixing all my mistakes. And best of all - we were all still friends at the end of the day. Well, Im impressed! August 13, 2009 at 7:21:00 AM PDT. Drummond Crew: Catching up on the latest...

http://drummondduo.blogspot.com/2012/07/catching-up-on-latest.html

Sunday, July 1, 2012. Catching up on the latest. Believe it or not, I actually started this post about a month ago, finally getting around to finishing it now. Happy July folks :). We were over @ our teammates' house and realized too late we'd forgotten an extra diaper for Sai. Also didn't realize exactly how big their cloth diaper would look on our little "tweedle dee" (thx Bs for the pinjam btw! A few Sai moments. Building a tower that fell down on it's own at the end of the story, perfect timing!

Homemade geoboards thanks to Alden's Dad! Lots o...

Drummond Crew: December 2011

http://drummondduo.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 25, 2011. Saiah enjoying some corn:. Which dropped shortly thereafter - ah, the drama that has come to this house with #2! November brought Sai's 1st bday, here's Lij trying to show the bday plates ;). A birthday brownie which Sai enjoyed the most of all of us as the video shows. A few more pix from the fateful day when Sai got into a can of paint! Fall time means pool-time here! Better to be up on the porch to keep the cows from drinking the pool and kids feet out of cow poo!

http://drummondduo.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 7, 2011. Well, wasn't sure when we'd have the time to start blogging again. Our lives have seemed to go in fast forward with getting back to Indo and loving on our 2 boys! Laying on the bed together - Isaiah looks so surprised and Lij so sly.wonder if there was pinching involved! Celebrating Lij's 2 and 1/2 bday with brownies and 2.5 in colored crystals :). Reading together in Lij's little playhouse:. Another surprised Isaiah pix, seeing a theme here. The joys of a crinkly bag of bread :).

Drummond Crew: May 2010

http://drummondduo.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 29, 2010. Even though our celebration was over a wkend we took a ton of pix so we'll break it up into a few posts, more forthcoming! So fun to have a nice break from normal life - western food, A/C, and family fun in the big city :). Elijah was of course fascinated by the phone with a land line (only cell phones in our town). And ice tongs - 1st time seeing those - Lij was all dressed up to go get his 2nd Hep A shot. We were so happily shocked when he didn't even cry! Saturday, May 8, 2010.

Drummond Crew: November 2010

http://drummondduo.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 6, 2010. Pix in and around our home:. Here's a pix right outside the front of our home with one of our favorite neighbor guys letting Jah see what it's like up on his "becek" (only taxi of sorts in town). We love that we didn't have to stage this one! 2 of our neighborhood princesses dropped by later on ;). Lij wearing the same nightshirt Elissa wore as a child! There's one little girl named Ipa who Lij especially enjoys having around - here she is making a tower from our clothespins:.

On the Farrer Side

On the Farrer Side. My view from the Farrer side of the world. Apr 16, 2014. Bad Moon on the Rise. Our council president, Gregg Landon, and I have gone to fifteen of the eighteen district dinners so far this year. He was riding with me on this trip. Moved back the way they came then ran quite a ways along the side of the road keeping pace with the truck. I finally sped up and left them behind. I see a bad moon arising. I see trouble on the way. Don’t go around tonight,. Well its bond to take your life,.

I stand stripped of those leaves. The wind continues to blow, the rains come, droughts and floods, but somehow….somehow I am not uprooted. The weekend comes inevitably at...

On the Far Side of the Sea

On the Far Side of the Sea. Excerpts of my Life in Thailand. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. It's God's Riches at Christ's Expense". Well, needless to say that is not the definition in Thai, and at my 7th grade Thai level I had to dumb it down quite a bit. What I said was more like "Grace means that Christ died for us so that we can have a relationship with God". Not bad.you can get the basic idea! Well, that's only partially true. Here's a picture of Chuck and his wife Chrissy, along with the local pastor.

On the far side of the sea - Life in Libreville, Gabon%%

On the far side of the sea. If I rise on the wings of dawn, If I settle on the far side of the sea, Even there your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast. (Psalm 139:9-10). July 13, 2015. What’s going on with us? A little bit of craziness as always. I last wrote right before I had my gender ultrasound to find out the babies’ genders. Drum roll …. They are two boys! Well, we are still working on that. We have a general idea, but we are keeping them close to the chest for now. So, this puts...
