What is Camp Ooch? Camp Oochigeas (Ooch) is a privately funded, volunteer-based organization that provides kids with and affected by childhood cancer with unique opportunities for growth through challenging, fun, enriching and magical experiences. When and Where does it happen? Who is it for? Kids with and affected by childhood cancer, their siblings and their families. Some campers are newly diagnosed and on active treatment and some have been in remission for years.

This year’s conference was held at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto and included a Parents Symposium for neuroblastoma parents like us. While we participated at the round table discussions with experts, Adrian was entertained by the staff from Camp Ooch. It was a pleasant evening followed by a reception sponsored by The James Fund.
