Lunedì 3 agosto 2015. Oggi parleremo di una variazione sul tema della già esaminata aria aggiunta. Si tratta di un'aria aggiunta rispetto alla stesura originale dell'opera, ma che va a sostituire un brano già esistente. La prassi era diffusissima in epoca barocca e prosegue fino al romanticismo. Molti di questi brani sono poi entrati nella prassi esecutiva di queste opere, e in certi casi sono gli unici "superstiti" ad essere eseguiti in concerto, mentre il resto dell'opera è caduta nell'oblio.
