He loved it. So many new sights and smells. He was in heaven. It turned out to be a wonderful anniversary. The perfect way to celebrate six years together. Our Life in the Yellow Brick House. Sunday, August 9, 2015. Today is a good day. Our running goal this week was to hit 3 miles, and we did it! My time wasn't great because I'm still having to walk a little but I'll take a 12:50 pace for now. So to celebrate this small victory, I thought I'd share some happy memories from the last month. I'm so glad God gives us reminders of how sweet His love is even in the midst of dark days. Where did the baby of the family go? The birthday girl is ready to party!

They live overseas, so we rarely get to see them. It was a treat to spend some time with them and the boys LOVED playing outside in the sand box. Quinn wondered why she had to wait on everyone to get there to dig into her presents. I loved the fact that there were sprinkles on the donut holes. Or to watch her brother open them for her.
