Los Alamitos Creek Trail - Pahavits Universe. Los Alamitos Creek Trail. Los Alamitos Creek Trail. On Saturday D. and I took a stroll along the Los Alamitos Creek Trail in southern San Jose, between Camden Ave. and Almaden Expressway, and I took some pics. We begin our stroll here. Milk thistle seed heads poke up from the dry grass along the trail. The water district doesnt like people gettin all up in their creeks and stuff. The prolonged drought in California has led to an abundance of tinder-dry grasses.

On Saturday D. and I took a short walk along part of the Skyline Trail in Sanborn County Park. And even though the woods were kind of boring I took a few pics anyway (it really wasnt my favorite kind of place for a walk but we had to change our plans at the last minute and couldnt think of another place to go). Sanborn has a lot of rock formations that are popular with climbers. A couple of the many dead Douglas firs in the park, perhaps victims of Californias extended drought. Coyote Hills Regional Park.
