These are real cases concerning real people, and highlight the deplorable behaviour and treatment meter out to fellow human beings by a public authority. Although, we accept there is a genuine need for child protection and that not everybody is innocent of child abuse, there also has to be a middle ground where families are treated with fairness and some civility.
