You won’t let them down: orphans won’t be orphans forever. Sunday, August 9. A couple of weeks ago, Steven and I picked out and ordered Baby Boy's furniture. It arrived on Thursday! We paid for delivery because it all had to be carried up two flights of stairs to get it to the bedroom. It was worth the extra cost! We thought we also paid for furniture set-up. As it turns out, that wasn't the case. Thankfully, the crib wasn't too much to assemble. It's all ready for a mattress and bedding!

I am feeling the baby more and more, which is nice and little bit odd too. I continue to have heartburn (thankful for Zantac! And back/rib pain. In addition, my hands have enough swelling in them that I can't wear my wedding rings. They are now on a necklace, and I ordered a special necklace to hold them over the next four months. I know this doesn't look like much,.

Our pregnancy is now seven weeks along, which means that fatigue, nauseousness, and horribly stupid dreams at night are in full swing. I am tired, except when I am sleeping. Schools, work places, libraries, trash pick up, public transit- just about everything has been suspended. Chris was in Texas for work, supposed to come home Sunday night, but all flights were cancelled. While I still have power, I am using this day off from work to put together some grant applications. Parks' Adventure

It has been a busy couple of weeks. Here is a quick update with some photos. Ellen turned 2 on the 10th. She is such a fun girl and we are so blessed to have her in our life. On the way to the mall for her birthday date.she wouldn't leave the house without a purse. She is such a girl! This girl loves her fried rice! The only thing she loves more than fried rice is ice cream! We took her shopping for new shoes. This girl was in HEAVEN! Our cute 2 year old! I am so grateful for Skype and the internet!
