Dec 16, 2013. Teaching African Canadian History" series. 100 Years of Black Life in Canada After the Underground Railroad 1865 - 1965. This session will provide classroom teachers and other education workers with content knowledge, teaching strategies, and resources for integrating the African Canadian experience from the mid-19th century to the mid-20th century into their classrooms. The workshop takes place on Thursday, January 16, 2014. At the Comfort Hotel, Rexdale from 9:30am - 3:30pm. Dec 11, 2013.
