Jason Finds Pearlington: September 2007
http://jason-finds-pearlington.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Being the typical clueless American, I lost track of the people affected by Katrina and what is now happening in those areas. On a church mission trip, I found Pearlington, MS more than 19 months after Katrina. Thursday, September 20, 2007. After all, Charleston had pretty well recovered from Hugo after 2 years. I will scan in an article in the Post and Courier from Saturday that made this type of statement. Enough for now. Posted by Jason Gamble. Thursday, September 6, 2007. Posted by Jason Gamble.

Jason Finds Pearlington: Devastation in Haiti
http://jason-finds-pearlington.blogspot.com/2010/01/devastation-in-haiti.html
Being the typical clueless American, I lost track of the people affected by Katrina and what is now happening in those areas. On a church mission trip, I found Pearlington, MS more than 19 months after Katrina. Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Our thoughts and prayers must be with the suffering people in Haiti. We can never know their challenge without living day-to-day trying to survive on $2 per day with barely any shelter or things. Our church and Presbytery supports Hearts with Haiti. They help with ...

Dream School International - Project Katrina: Pearlington, MS. On-going support to the hurricane-ravaged residents of Pearlington, Mississippi. Monday, December 12, 2005. I told the story some time ago of Sally, the woman whose brother was killed helping her clean out from under Hurricane Katrina. They wanted more than $1000 for the bill. Susie spoke with them and worked a fee per call deal that lowered the bill to $200. I called her and told her I would look after it. She told me to wait until s...I kno...

Dream School International - Project Katrina: Pearlington, MS. On-going support to the hurricane-ravaged residents of Pearlington, Mississippi. Friday, April 14, 2006. An Easter Prayer for Pearlington. It's the dead of night and I cannot sleep. I find myself at my keyboard, somewhat overwhelmed. There is so much to do here and it seems to take so much to get even a little something done. It's Easter and Christ will rise again. As will Pearlington. Posted by Jon White at 9:19 AM. Pearlington, Mississippi - hard-hit by Katrina in 2005
http://www.pearlingtonms.com/trips/after_gustav.html
Plans for upcoming trip weekend of September 4-7, 2008:. Update on our Friends in Pearlington:. Update: The church does NOT have water damage. Not sure about the parsonage but volunteers can sleep in the carpeted fellowship hall on air mattresses. Janet and Tommy did NOT have water in the house. But the moisture did make the floors buckle in places. Insurance will help them repair that. There is power in Oak Harbor. Thank you for serving Him,. BRICK Layers Huntsville, AL.
