Monday, August 6, 2007. Lee Hazelwood passes on. Is reporting that music legend Lee Hazelwood has died at age 78, after a long bout with cancer. He was best known for his seminal work with Nancy Sinatra. Hazelwood wrote "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" and "Some Velvet Morning," and produced and performed on two albums with the singer, 1968's Nancy and Lee. And 1972's Nancy and Lee Again.
