We had about two hours left to explore Skagway. Let's go. Skagway is a very pretty old city with mainly souvenir shops. Life on the ferry:. Games, movies, talking. Jogging the ferry decks. Take the ferry in Skagway (follow signs to the terminal of the Alaska Marine Highway). The ferry takes you to Bellingham via. Pad or therma rest.

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Even though it wasn't a birthday party, we still decided to make a "mud" cake and put some monster truck scenes, made by each boy. Mr T's monster truck scene. When the party kids arrived, they each got to choose and color their own monster truck. Then they cut it out and glued it on the long banner, which Mr. T had hanging in his room for months afterward. And then came the big event: MONSTER TRUCK RIDES. You can tell there is a little bit of excitement going on here! So he ...

Friday, July 22, 2011. Several weeks ago a friend from church invited us out to the new lodge down the Narrows where he works. It is beautiful Majestic Eagle Lodge. It's my new favorite place to recommend to anyone traveling to Petersburg! The wonderful owner/chef and her able assistants treated us to a delicious meal and a fun tour of their well-built and well-organized cabins, lodge and property. Come for a visit! Here are the kids following James, our kind host, down to the boat on the beach. Fans sta...
