Star anise – Other than yummy food, the aroma of this beautiful star-shaped spice reminds me of drunken nights and hangovers! 😉 I love shots of German Jägermeister. And both the herbal liqueurs have anise as an ingredient. Star anise has a strong flavour with a sweet liquorice-like aroma and is also used in Asian cooking. A few pictures of Star Anise. Part 1 - Superstition Mountain. I had the place all to myself after sunset and was able to get some good long exposures. The only thing that freaked me out, coming from a city, was the yipping of coyotes (which, I learned the day after, only go after small pets). I tried out some cool photos with this crazy bright flashlight Anker LC130. A 1300 lumen flashlight. I also took some long exposure, single shots of the mountain and some saguaro cacti around the trail. Here are some photos I took. I got a drone!
