Notes from the Borders: Knowledge and Performance, Theory and Amor. April 20, 2008. My grandmother kept two small birds in her kitchen. As a child, I remember being completely in awe of birds. I did not understand how or why they could flyor rather why I couldn’t. I, unlike those other stupid children I knew did not attempt to fly.
