We had Christmas dinner with Joseph's family at our house on Friday. His Dad, his brother and his girlfriend - Dee, and our family were there. Joseph's mom passed away two days after Christmas last year so this was the first without her. Joseph's dad is in a nursing home here in Tuscaloosa and we were so glad he was well enough to be here. My nephew, Jordan.

This year Samuel begins his 5th grade year which will be his last year of elementary school and John Michael begins Pre-K which is his last year of preschool. Everyday life. memories in the making. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Halloween 2011 - Saban and Richardson. The boys LOVED all of the excitement their costumes received this year! Samuel counted over 20 people who called him "coach" or asked him if Bama was going to beat LSU this weekend. John Michael loved yelling "Roll Tide" and "Auburn stinks" to anyone who threw a comment his way. There were cars slowing down and rolling down their windows to talk to "Coach Saban". It was great! A coffee break moment.

Everyday life. memories in the making. Friday, April 22, 2011. Preschool Easter Egg Hunt. Waiting for the fun to begin! This past Wednesday night was John Michael's Easter egg hunt at our church. He had a great time playing all of the games, bouncing in the Carousel, and searching for Easter eggs in small swimming pools filled with shredded paper and eggs. Due to severe weather and lots of rain the egg hunt was moved indoors. What a great alternative shredded paper is for grass! Wednesday, April 20, 2011.

Everyday life. memories in the making. Monday, November 8, 2010. Each year we do a neighborhood hay ride with all the neighborhood kids. Somehow I managed not to get a picture this year of everyone together but we had 12 kids and twice that in adults. After trick or treating we complete the evening back at our house with lots off good food and treats. For our Fall Festival at church the boys decided to go as Alabama football players since it was earlier in the afternoon and warmer than the night before.
