Marcus J. Neuer was born in Germany in 1977. He received the Dipl.-Phys. degree, with distinction, from the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf in 2003. From 2003 to 2006 he was researcher at the Heinrich-Heine-University in different educational and scientific roles, where he received the degree Dr. rer. nat. in 2006, following a Ph.D. thesis on a stochastic theory about anomalous transport in plasmas. The strontium ID module is used one single agent within a multi-agent system. This system uses communication strategies to extract the ID of a nuclear source.
