http://rihannsudeathknight.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 28, 2009. Why settle for less? And saw "double hamburger- $1". This got me to thinking, so I reached into the pocket area in my car door and pulled out a receipt from the previous week. "2 hamburgers- $1.98" (that's 99c for 1 regular hamburger! It came my turn to order, and I decided if I'm getting more meat for 1c more, why not go for it? Just food for thought there. I'm now off to McDs for my lunch. Double Hamburgers. here I come! History and Memories of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio Television and Radio from the 1940's-1980's.Dedicated to preserving the Broadcast Heritage of Northeast Ohio. Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Early years of WCRF-FM. To tell the story of the early years of Moody Radio outlet WCRF, it is necessary to go back to the 20's when radio was just getting established. In 1925, an emergency program by two Moody Bible Institute cornet players led to the Institute establishing WMBI-AM in 1926. In 1958, A Group of Christian...

Fear The AoD!!!: December 2009
http://rihannsudeathknight.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 25, 2009. Merry Christmas to all my readers. Here's a list of gathered Christmas facts and trivia. enjoy. Hot cockles" was a popular game at Christmas in medieval times. It was a game in which the other players took turns striking the blindfolded player, who had to guess the name of the person delivering each blow. "Hot cockles" was still a Christmas pastime until the Victorian era. A traditional Christmas dinner in early England was the head of a pig prepared with mustard. According to ...

A blog about the media by a journalist. KDKA-FM continues to nosedive while WKST-FM climbs. Leave a comment ». The March radio numbers (persons 12 , shares) are interesting, to say the least. WKST-FM jumped to the fourth spot. WRRK-FM spiked to No. 3 (My guess is this is due to Star 100.7 tinkering with its playlist and the continued wrath of the death of B94). KDKA-FM (the B94 replacement on 93.7) tied with WORD-FM for the No. 20 spot. The top 10 for March:. Written by Bobby Cherry. A win for all. You a...

A blog about the media by a journalist. Big Ben media mania. Leave a comment ». Everywhere you look, a news channel or paper has an “exclusive” part of the Ben Roethlisberger media frenzy. I’m not here to debate whether the Steelers star quarterback is guilty. I’m here to discuss the media’s coverage of this event. First and foremost… I’ve not professionally covered any aspect of this story. YOU ARE A REPORTER. NOT A SECRETARY. It is NOT the duty of the reporter to offer every last sentence spewed from s...

A win for all | Buried Ledes

A blog about the media by a journalist. A win for all. Leave a comment ». No matter your opinion of the Westboro Baptist Church and I’m not here to argue for or against them this week’s news of the Supreme Court siding with the church’s right to protest outside of funerals of U.S. soldiers. The 8-1 decision is a win for the First Amendment. The First Amendment reads. If we are to begin limiting where people can peaceable and publicly protest, then we undermine the First Amendment.
