Blaenau Ffestiniog, located in the mountains of Snowdonia, is a prime example of a small town born from the need to house an influx of workers to extract the natural resources found there.

The following information covers the exhibitions that were held at the gallery between 2005 and 2011. In 2012 funding was secured from the Arts Council to carry out essential restoration works to the building and exhibitions resumed in 2013 when the gallery re-opened, showing the work of the studio artists. 8216;Past Projects’. Commissioned by C.A.B.E. 2005/6. The Gresham area of Middlesbrough consists of back-to-back terraced properties which housed 6.5% of the town’s population. When this work was made 1500 homes were being threatened with demolition due to a huge regeneration project in the area. Many residents were owner/occupiers who were facing compulsory purchase orders on their homes.
