WE ARE THE SAME! 根據陽光長年服務燒傷及顏損朋友經驗發現，顏損朋友唯有獲得平等尊重的對待，才能與我們一樣，在學校、職場、公共場合真正自在生活著，陽光也相信每個人的價值來自於他的努力而非外貌，103年起，陽光進一步於每年舉辦 臉部平權日 活動，藉由推動 臉部平權 ，期望無論顏面外觀為何，每個人都能被公平及友善的對待. 只要多一點關心、多一點行動，您會看見改變的力量，現在就由你我開始用寬廣的心看世界，彼此沒有距離，臉貼臉看見 真價值 體會 零距離. 民眾因外貌而遭受他人取笑、取不喜歡的綽號或被批評的比率分別為19.4%、17.8%、15.7%. 此外，有身體特徵困擾者遭受上述不友善對待的比例明顯高於無身體特徵困擾者，達顯著差異 p 0.001). 100年調查顯示 社會氛圍確實為 臉部不平權 之狀態. 於有效問卷中，針對顏損者之印象分數為57.9分，針對非顏損者為73.7分，達統計上之顯著差異，表示目前社會氛圍確實為 臉部不平權 之狀態。 101年調查顯示 大眾對與顏損者發展高於朋友的親密關係 如戀人、家人 的接納度，相對低於發展朋友以下的關係.
