The last day of the Broken Hill trip was fairly ordinary, I’d gotten into a bit of a grump and was fairly jack of it by the end. An Aussie’s travels through the US. Sunny day, everything’s a-okay. July 12, 2009. I found a new way to be woken today, and it didn’t involve any of the other five guys in the room. The trick is to have your chest heated by the sun streaming in through the closed window†. So wakeup time was around 7:15 and I’ve learned to close the shades. Out of the tiny room into the tiny shower, but at least they all work. Little cushions to aid you sitting on the steps. The Tea Party museum is, ah, under renovations.
