Der Körper kann auf bestimmte Situationen oder auch Gegenstände, die er als gefährlich bewertet, mit Angst oder Panik reagieren, was auch bis hin zu Panikattacken eskalieren kann, was man mithilfe einer Therapie behandeln lassen kann oder sogar sollte. Aber ebenso nennenswert ist das Erlernen des Entspannens, da es meist schnell erlernt werden kann und auch eine zuverlässige Wirkung zeigt. Oftmals wird hierbei die progressive Entspannung der Muskeln angewandt.
