Tarheeled Jayhawks: Aurelia Robin's birth story
http://tarheeledjayhawks.blogspot.com/2014/02/aurelia-robins-birth-story.html
Monday, February 24, 2014. Aurelia Robin's birth story. So this is about 14 weeks late.but I had some free time and wanted to write down all the little details before I forget them. :). Tues morning I woke up around 6 am after barely sleeping. It was just too hard to sleep knowing that next day I would be meeting my daughter face to face for the first time! Could you sleep knowing such a major life change was on the horizon? The braids stayed in place perfectly for over 15 hours! But it wasn't a big deal...

Tarheeled Jayhawks: May 2013
http://tarheeledjayhawks.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 31, 2013. Wearing a maternity shirt here. So comfy! And I think it helps emphasize a bump and not just a belly, lol. I am still in that in between stage where depending on what I wear, I either look a little pregnant or a little too many donuts. 15 weeks 3 days. The transition has begun! To be determined.July 1 can't get here fast enough! Definite flutters. I feel them when I'm still or laying down. No real changes. Still lots of nausea, hip pain. We're moving to a bigger place at the end of ...

Tarheeled Jayhawks: hi there!
http://tarheeledjayhawks.blogspot.com/2013/08/hi-there.html
Friday, August 9, 2013. So, it's been a while! Whoops. Life's been a little crazy this past month. At the end of June, we found out. We are both extremely excited that we'll be welcoming our DAUGHTER to the world in November! We're pretty sure we've decided on a name, but we're keeping it private just in case we change our minds. A few days after that, we moved to the other side of Lawrence. We love it out here! So the past month has been spent moving, unpacking, decorating, picking up some needed items ...

Tarheeled Jayhawks: July 2012
http://tarheeledjayhawks.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 21, 2012. The past few days have been pretty eventful around Casa de Rowland. Wednesday I had my growth group, which was great as it always is, but perhaps even more so with the addition of a homemade cake by one of our group members. Yellow cake with strawberry filling and cream cheese icing w/strawberries and blueberries.clearly, I'm still thinking about it. Yum. Overall I had a really good time and I'm glad I went! I would definitely go again next year, especially if we could time it ri...

Tarheeled Jayhawks: August 2013
http://tarheeledjayhawks.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 25, 2013. An afternoon at the sunflower farm! Michael and I decided somewhat on a whim to go visit a sunflower farm on Saturday afternoon. We saw a friend post about it on Facebook and I had never seen a huge field of them before.just kind of scattered on the sides of highways. They were stunning! It was only about a 20 min drive outside of Lawrence and it was free to go and take pictures. Here's a few Michael captured that I thought turned out pretty well:. 27 weeks 5 days. Hip and pelvic...

Tarheeled Jayhawks: August 2012
http://tarheeledjayhawks.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 23, 2012. First night at the hospital! Haven't updated in a while.I got the job! Thanks for all who prayed and encouraged me! Tonight is my first "live" night on my own, and so far it's gone pretty well. I have one hour to go before I'm done for the night (day? It's technically 6 am.). Yup, it's overnight! Also an FYI, to those who have my cell number: right now my phone is messed up so I can't receive calls. Well, I can receive them, you just won't be able to hear me. Boo! Why I am leav...

Tarheeled Jayhawks: February 2013
http://tarheeledjayhawks.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 22, 2013. I am 1 in 8. That's a lot of people. It's roughly the amount of Americans who proclaim themselves to be vegetarians, the amount of people who were behind bars in correctional facilities across the country in 2007 (there's your fun fact of the day). It's also the amount of people who are affected by infertility. 7.3 million equates to 1 in 8 couples. So if the statistic is that big.why does no one talk about it? Michael and I are 1 in 8, and I am going to talk about it. After yo...

Tarheeled Jayhawks: September 2012
http://tarheeledjayhawks.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 28, 2012. Ahhh, my first obscene phone call while working at the hospital. Fabulous. Guess I'm really a part of the team now! Seriously though, why are people so gross? What compels a dude to pick up the phone, dial the local hospital, and say "I'm having trouble getting my penis hard, can you help me with that? Fun times on the night shift, y'all! Links to this post. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. We just haven't had enough of those days this summer because it's been so dry. It was the...

Tarheeled Jayhawks: September 2013
http://tarheeledjayhawks.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 29, 2013. 32 weeks 5 days. Baby is the size of a:. Durian fruit (whatever that is). Lots I think she hiccups because I feel a lot of repetitive motion down where I think her head is (or at least where it was at our ultrasound at the beginning of September). I'm at the point where I can see her flip and roll around-it's the craziest thing to see your stomach move like that. Like something straight out of Alien. Best moment this week:. Well I guess I need to recap the last month! We loved...
