Thoughts From The Preacher: to think or not to think
http://stevenball.blogspot.com/2008/10/to-think-or-not-to-think.html
Thoughts From The Preacher. Random thoughts from throughout my day. Bible Verse of the Day. Wednesday, October 15, 2008. To think or not to think. I got an e-mail from a self proclaimed "material atheist." He told me that if a god did exist that it would (and these are his words): "be perfect . [with] no need to be worshiped it could have no thoughts.". If such a god existed then we would have no purpose! I'm glad that God loves us an wants our love, worship, adoration. Thoughts From The Preacher: The Mustard Seed
http://stevenball.blogspot.com/2008/10/mustard-seed.html
Thoughts From The Preacher. Random thoughts from throughout my day. Bible Verse of the Day. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. The Bible talks about the Kingdom of God being like a mustard seed. A mustard seed is very small, the smallest you would plant in your garden. But when it grows it reaches heights of 10-15 feet tall. In the fall the branches stiffen and the birds are able to take refuge in it. Tired birds can find a place to make a home so can we find a place in Jesus! October 22, 2008 at 9:59 AM.

Thoughts From The Preacher: The path to Joy!
http://stevenball.blogspot.com/2009/01/path-to-joy.html
Thoughts From The Preacher. Random thoughts from throughout my day. Bible Verse of the Day. Sunday, January 11, 2009. The path to Joy! So then, if joy is not found in stuff, where is it found? The answer may be surprising, but when you think about it, it makes sense. Joy is found in humility. Consider for a moment, people are discontent and therefore lack joy because they are not happy with the place that God has put them. Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice! Wow, so true! The path to Joy!

Thoughts From The Preacher: September 2008
http://stevenball.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Thoughts From The Preacher. Random thoughts from throughout my day. Bible Verse of the Day. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. The cost of following Christ . It is all to often that we neglect to consider the cost to follow Christ. Now, I don't aim to explain any deep theological truths here, but consider the following example. Before Timothy could go with Paul, he had to be circumcised. Luke records it this way: ". May God be glorified in your life. Monday, September 29, 2008. Right now the wife is changing a...

Thoughts From The Preacher: The Devil
http://stevenball.blogspot.com/2008/10/devil.html
Thoughts From The Preacher. Random thoughts from throughout my day. Bible Verse of the Day. Saturday, October 11, 2008. Reading through Matthew 13:24-30, I find some very interesting ways the Devil works against God. We would do well to recognize these so that we may remain safe from the wiles of the devil. May the Lord bless you and keep you. He did his work while men slept and Jesus will come back like a thief in the night! You just made me think about this! October 12, 2008 at 7:06 PM. Thoughts From The Preacher: The Kingdom of God
http://stevenball.blogspot.com/2008/10/kingdom-of-god.html
Thoughts From The Preacher. Random thoughts from throughout my day. Bible Verse of the Day. Saturday, October 18, 2008. The Kingdom of God. And the Kingdom of God is like: "Leaven a woman took and hid in three measures of flower until is spread through all of it" (Matt. 13:33). As time continues, Christianity spreads; one day it will reach the outermost parts of the world effecting every people group. To God be the Glory for the great work he has done. Thoughts From The Preacher: Proof that God Exists!
http://stevenball.blogspot.com/2008/10/proof-that-god-exists.html
Thoughts From The Preacher. Random thoughts from throughout my day. Bible Verse of the Day. Friday, October 17, 2008. Proof that God Exists! Okay, so I don't really have proof that God exists. Not scientific proof, anyhow. Here's the thing - nobody is going to get a picture of God on their iPhone and I wouldn't count on God opening up the clouds and declaring to the world "Here I am, look at me.".
