http://museumquiltguild.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
A Place for members and friends of The Museum Quilt Guild of Batavia, NY to check up on Guild events. Tuesday, September 23, 2014. Kathy has been carrying her crazy quilted "Boho"bag, rather than letting it hang in the closet. Martha Lorshbaugh finished her "Xcentric" quilt, started in the Anita Grossman Soloman class when she visited in 2011. Nancy Ellers is making Christmas stockings on a knitting machine, using a pattern written for hand knitting. Not as easy as it sounds. Mary Ellen Casey finished he...

http://museumquiltguild.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
A Place for members and friends of The Museum Quilt Guild of Batavia, NY to check up on Guild events. Tuesday, March 24, 2015. March Community Service day. Cheryl Doody donated this small quilt. Tracy Jachimowicz started off show and tell this month by sharing items donated to the Muckdogs baseball team silent auction. Funds raised from this will be given to the PTSD unit at the VA. Tracy made this one to donate. I think this one came from the community service stash. And a binky buddy. Connie Grimsley m...

Museum Quilt Guild: August 2014
http://museumquiltguild.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
A Place for members and friends of The Museum Quilt Guild of Batavia, NY to check up on Guild events. Friday, August 22, 2014. There was a LOT to do at the August meeting! Show and tell is always a high point of the meeting! Forsaken", by Kathi Everett. If you went on retreat, you may have seen Kathi playing with her hand dyed fabrics and somewhat random piecing of crosses. A sudden bit of inspiration struck Kathi in the middle of the night, and here is how she finished that piece. After the break, where...

http://museumquiltguild.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
A Place for members and friends of The Museum Quilt Guild of Batavia, NY to check up on Guild events. Tuesday, December 16, 2014. There wasn't a lot of show and tell this month, but there was a lot of really great food! It's always enjoyable to spend a while just enjoying the company of our fellow quilters. For all who were there- and all who weren't- have a wonderful holiday season with your family and friends! We wish for all of you some quiet time for quilting. Nancy made this one for herself! A Place for members and friends of The Museum Quilt Guild of Batavia, NY to check up on Guild events. Friday, May 22, 2015. Member tips and tricks. Another great show and tell at the May guild meeting. Mary Ellen Ames kicked it off with her Judy Niemeyer leaf from the class with Barb Miller. Junamae Quternous had a couple of sweet small projects for us- this owl purse, which she has already made several of for grandchildren. And her completed piece from the wool felt workshop given at the April meeting.

Bits of Merth: Quiltaholics Anonymous
http://bitsofmerth.blogspot.com/2015/05/quiltaholics-anonymous.html
Ponderations from a quilter, gardener, knitter, mom and middle aged woman with many opinions. Friday, May 8, 2015. This morning a friend in what I call my "online guild" was saying she needs a 12 step program for quilters. In my response to her, I created what I figured the steps would be for quilters ( since, really, who WANTS to give it up? Another member of the group suggested I post it on my blog for others to enjoy- and maybe start a "meeting" for the Quiltaholics in your area. Step 10- Happily acce...

Art C Girlz: May 2014
http://artcgirlz.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Well, lookie what I found- a draft of the post from April- never finished. Obviously my fellow artc's are too polite to ask what happened to it! OK, now I know why I never finished it- for some reason this post is very stubborn and I gave up trying to place things where I want them. If anyone knows how to over ride or overcome these issues, please share! Anyway, here is what happened at our April meeting. Lori is enjoying doing landscapes, including her sasquatch projects. Chris no...

Art C Girlz: March 2014
http://artcgirlz.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 12, 2014. We finally made creative girls! We canceled our February meeting so the Creative Girl quilts were delayed. as a group project. Some of us couldn't wait, so there were a few finished "girls" at the March meeting. Susan's "Buffalo Gal" even has a great pair of boots! Some of the embellishments are singles of earrings lost. GREAT idea! Mary Ellen's "Prom Girl" has ruffles made from a color run of hand dyed fabric. Mary Ellen thinks she needs to practice to make her faces better.

Art C Girlz: July 2013
http://artcgirlz.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 15, 2013. A very fond farewell. Sadly, one of our favorite ArtCGirlz is relocating in August. We all wanted to show her how much we will miss her, so we had a little party at TF Brown's. Mary was the only one who had show and tell- another piece inspired by Anne Brauer. She used the batik strip at the bottom as her color inspiration. Mary also shared some information on Tapping. Additional information can be found at these sites. Http:/ www.emofree.com/. Http:/ eft.mercola.com/. Mary wore a ...
