I was thinking recently of my favorite places to be and Lake Powell is one of the top places on this list. This is for all those people out there who still have doubts about how great Lake Powell is (Jeff, you just wait.you'll change your mind in September.). The days go by so slowly as I wait in anxious. When you've got it, you've got it. Wednesday, May 30, 2007. For the first half of the day is was misty and cloudy. The mist just sort of laid on the top of the mountains. It was so beautiful! Then, as we got up to Loch Ness, the sky cleared up compeletly. We went out on a boat to "look for Nessy". Sadly, we didn't see her, but we were able to get a good look around the southern part of the lake. The water was a very vivid blue. It takes 4-5 days of walking, but the scenery would be amazing!
