A Lynes Family Story. August 20, 2013. Ian Version 4.0. Well, apparently it. A fluke last time I was able to post something, because it went right back to not letting me. Then I tried again today and it works, which is great, but man this is frustrating! Anyway.Ian's birthday is 5 days after Abby's, and this year on July 13, he turned 4 years old! I can't tell you how excited he was to be 4. Everyday for at least a month he would ask me if it was his birthday yet. "Not yet buddy, but soon, okay? I'm kind...

A Lynes Family Story. October 30, 2014. Fall Fun, Part 1. I've been pretty bad about taking pictures lately (having my hands full with a baby may have something to do with that), but here are a few things we've been up to so far this fall. Apple picking in Ellijay during the kids' fall break 9.15.14:. Lovely blue ridge mountains.always a welcome sight. Ian may have been just a LITTLE bit excited. We went with several friends from church which made it extra fun! And Abby and Emma Brown :). Can you spot us?

It's likely that 8 years from now she'll be moving away to college.gah! I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that Nathan and I have been parents for a decade now. Where has the time gone? You can never really fully prepare for becoming a parent. Abby changed my life the day she was born. I stayed home w...

A Lynes Family Story. May 26, 2014. Yes, I have more blessings than I can count.but I'm not going to let any of those things minimize how very hard life has been for me postpartum. I am keeping it real with this post. Feel free to skip down to the pictures of the cute baby if you'd rather not hear my whining :). Ok, on to the yummy baby. Now, in the spirit of honesty that I started with, I have a confession. I don't like babies. GASP! I just don't like him sometimes, haha. Getting some love from brother.
