We were told for weeks that our baby girl was ready to come, but alas, Pumpkin was too happy inside her mommy's tummy. A co-worker joked that I must have cable TV and a recliner in there for two kids to have to be induced! She replied, "To be induced. Does Monday work? I honestly thought she was kidding. How in the world could the baby already be crowning!

Life holds many treasures, only some are brave enough to find. The truly wise cherish, and know what they hold is divine. Monday, June 24, 2013. Extended Power Outages in Modern Society. We lost hundreds of dollars of groceries, put out over a hundred on necessary supplies, and do not anticipate getting electricity back for 2 more days. Our home is very hot in the summer weather with no means of cooling it down and we have two very young kids. The bright side is – no electricity! More downsides than posi...

Visual Reflections: New Hair Style
http://visualreflections.blogspot.com/2007/10/new-hair-style.html
Wednesday, October 31, 2007. I went to the beauty salon to get blonde and red highlights like i have had for the past year. I brought Sunny to translate for me. I did not however get highlights! I ended up with pink hair. This picture does not do it justice because of the light. But here you go. I went back and with Sunny's help I was able to get a light red which is better. Everyone really likes my hair now but I don't because it is not what I wanted. I wanted blonde and red highlights!

Tuesday, October 09, 2007. Last Day of Classes in June. I always have a potluck party on the last day of each term. It makes for a fun day. With my 8am class I decided to invite them over for an American breakfast. I made French Toast for everyone. To a Korean though bread is not breakfast. Visual Reflections: Deokjin Park
http://visualreflections.blogspot.com/2007/10/deokjin-park.html
Monday, October 08, 2007. There is a park right near my house. I love going there to walk. It is very beautiful during the day or at night. Here are a few pictures I have taken on some of my walks. This is a traditional Korean swing. It is so tall because in the past all Koran villages had walls around them. The girls would push each other to see how high they could go. This was the only time the girls would be able to see over the wall of the village. That swing is scary! Knee Surgery A Success.
