Sunday, 21 June 2015. And now his watch has ended. The fifth season of Game of Thrones came to a close in the last week. It's been a topsy turvy 10 episodes, with some consensus that - in light of the challenge show writers have as they overtake the Song of Ice and Fire. Series - it's been weaker and bleaker than previous seasons, failing to live up to the hype. I'm inclined to agree, but that's not to say that the standards have slipped too. Well there's the the one. Which prompted a storm of criticism.
