Books I’m reading | Rambling in the Woods
https://ramblinginthewoods.wordpress.com/books-im-reading
Books I’m reading. Rambling in the Woods. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Books I’m reading. Through Black Spruce – Joseph Boyden. This book has parallel plot lines. The problem is that inevitably one plot line is more interesting than the other. They did come together but I found the ending disappointing. Reconstruction – Mick Herron. 8211; I was told I would be unable to put this book down. It was true, it is a book that just keeps leading you on. Set aside a full afternoon. 8211; Yes, the. 8211; I ...

Books I’m reading. Rambling in the Woods. Just another WordPress.com weblog. August 20, 2009. Posted by emrasa under Misc. The thing I like about this park is their reverence for the Black Rat Snake. Which results in these signs scattered around the park:. Not a sign you see very often. It reminded me of another sign I saw recently which is also rare but really shouldn’t be:. Something Completely Different | Rambling in the Woods

Books I’m reading. Rambling in the Woods. Just another WordPress.com weblog. September 29, 2009. Posted by emrasa under dyes. When it comes to dyeing wool I am usually quite content to work with natural dyes. There are enough plants and colour variations to keep a person entertained for a lifetime. However, every once in a while it’s a good idea to shake things up a bit so I gathered together some roving, beads and a package a raspberry Kool-Aid:. I used the microwave and the spinning wheel and made this:.
I’m Back | Rambling in the Woods

Books I’m reading. Rambling in the Woods. Just another WordPress.com weblog. June 26, 2011. Posted by emrasa under Uncategorized. I’m back. Maybe. Maybe not. I’ll see how it goes. I have to re-learn how to post particularly the pictures which, if I remember correctly, is what led me to abandoning this blog the last time. Is it strictly necessary that I have to re-learn everything all the time? Can’t something just stick in my head for a while? Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
Dandelions | Rambling in the Woods

Books I’m reading. Rambling in the Woods. Just another WordPress.com weblog. June 1, 2010. Posted by emrasa under dyes. Dandelions. I love them. The wool on the left was dyed with the dandelions and turned out pale yellow. The wool on the right is a sample of the wool before dying. It is handspun and mordanted in alum and cream of tartar. I think, had the dye bath been stronger, I would have got a stronger colour. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

February also brought on a small personal milestone for me. The 16.

Tales from a Rambling Travelling Iowan
Tales from a Rambling Travelling Iowan. I am a displaced Iowan traveling around the country and the world. I take pictures of just about everything, and I will tell a story with the pictures, before old age causes my memory to go. There might be some life lessons and photo tips included.but mostly just my rambling and occasional snark and odd humor. I almost give up hope and then there are the dreams. I only bring this up to talk about the connection one feels with a pet. Maynard was my cat. We s...From ...
