Monday, August 4, 2008. In April, we packed up the boys and headed to Hawaii! The boys did great on the plane and even got invited by the captain to go to the cockpit, take a tour and then talk over the loud speaker! While on Oahu, we spent a day at a Sea Life park where we saw all kinds of animals, got to touch a shark, hold turtles, watch dolphin and sea lion shows and then we actually swam with the dolphins! Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Look who turned 4! Can you believe it? For Tyler's birthday, we took him to Jungle Jim's Playland in Fort Union. We spent the day riding on roller coasters, swings, bumper cars and airplanes. The boys also got hooked on skee-ball, which coincidentally is one of my very favorite amusement park games! Scenes From Our Life. Sharing moments of our lives since 2008. Sunday, October 7, 2012. Miriam with her penguin. Miriam broke her arm last month while jumping on the trampoline. It broke above her elbow and required surgery to realign the bones and pin them together. She had a softer cast for a week to allow the swelling to go down and then got her hard cast last week. She only has to wear the hard cast for two weeks. And especially at Primary Children's Medical Center. Miriam with her pink cast.

As written by Stacey .nothing too exciting or profound here. Monday, September 24, 2012. On Thursday Ben had surgery to remove the plates and screws from his arm. The doctor recommended doing this because there is a chance, espcially in kids, that the hardware could eventually cause problems. It's a lot easier and less traumatic to remove them in a controlled environment than to remove them after they've caused a problem. Here's a picture of him in the hospital bed, watching the TV they had in the corner:.
