Our Birch Corner Abode: What a great weekend!
http://birchcorner.blogspot.com/2009/10/what-great-weekend.html
Monday, October 5, 2009. What a great weekend! Then it was off to see a sneak peak of the movie. Bryce had absolutely no desire to see it so David watched him outside while I took a sleeping Cole in to the movie. I am glad Bryce didn't come with me. it was a little scary and VERY loud! The 3D was neat but I remembered why I am not really a 3D kinda person. My eyes have trouble focusing and it gives me a headache. I can't imagine watching 2 hours of a movie in 3D. 2D is just fine for me. I'll have to shar...

Thursday, June 26, 2008. Racecar Races Part 2. Here are the pictures from the playdate yesterday. Here the boys are painting their racecars. Notice how my vinyl tablecloth matches the shelf in the background. All of my furniture and accessories are blue, purple or green. Then we had lunch. I used cookie cutters to cut out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches into racecars. I don't think any of the boys really even noticed but I had fun with it. :-). I replied. um, yeah! My moms group is pretty active and w...

Our Birch Corner Abode: August 2008
http://birchcorner.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2008. For the past week I have been working on potty training Bryce. It has been one of the hardest things I have ever done! I thought getting him to stay in his big bed boy was hard but I only had trouble with that once a day. With potty training - it's been multiple times a day! Bryce thinks going potty is boring and he doesn't have the time for it. He has told me "It's not fun! And "I'm too busy to go potty! Plus, whenever I tried to get him to go it was a HUGE fight! He remained...

http://birchcorner.blogspot.com/2009/10/bucket-of-cole.html
Friday, October 2, 2009. A Bucket of "Cole". Well, about 2 weeks ago I filled the tub. without realizing how much had splashed out of the tub - went to get Cole, walked into the bathroom and slipped. Bam - fell right down onto my bum. HARD. Mind you I couldn't brace myself with my hands because well. I was carrying the baby! Thank goodness I didn't drop him. he was absolutely fine. But ouch, ouch. my bum hurt! So I figured this is the end of that and we're off to find a better tub! Posted by Domestic Diva.

Our Birch Corner Abode: The Newest Addition
http://birchcorner.blogspot.com/2009/10/newest-addition.html
Thursday, October 1, 2009. On July 23, 2009 Cole Joesph joined our family. He was 5 lbs 8 oz and 19 inches long and absolutely beautiful! My OB admitted me to the hospital for frequent non-stress tests and blood pressure monitoring. Oh yeah, did I also mention that everyone else was out of town on vacation? My in laws were in Dewey with Bryce and my parents were still in Florida. What a mess! Throughout this whole pregnancy we had been discussing having a VBAC so I was very confused! PS Thank goodness my...

Our Birch Corner Abode: November 2008
http://birchcorner.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 28, 2008. Pictures from the One Curtained Thanksgiving. This year has been dubbed the One Curtained Thanksgiving because we put off hanging our curtains till the night before Thanksgiving. Of course, one of the curtain rods was missing the hardware to hang it (all of the important stuff). Instead of taking down the other curtain I decided to keep it up so that I could show my mom the curtains (which are actually tablecloths cut down the center and hemmed). Here's me and my awful chin!

Our Birch Corner Abode: January 2009
http://birchcorner.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 9, 2009. I guess I should explain a bit. On our way back from Florida I found out I was pregnant. Yes, literally on the way back. in the airport bathroom. I had my suspicions at the beginning of the week but I was not going to test because darn it. this was my vacation and I didn't want to hold anything back! 20 months of not being able to become pregnant after my miscarriage. 20 months of thinking maybe. Every month and gosh darnit. this was our vacation! I need to get out! Anyhows - I r...
