She'd rather hold your hand and walk next to you. I have to remind myself to enjoy this! Because soon, very soon, there will be a time she wants nothing to do with holding my hand. So, for now, I will embrace this. every time her tiny hand reaches out for mine so she can take her wobbly steps. Happy 33rd birthday, Dad.

Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Taking a stroll with her favorite girls. Trying so hard to put on her swimsuit. Dr Seuss parade. Poor kids got stuck with these terrible costumes. Last minute decision to be in the parade didn't leave me much time to create cool costumes. Creative though, huh? Hooray for driving carts at Home Depot! Happy Baptism Day Harrison. Relaxin' in her floaty. Having fun with Emerson. Loves the big girl swing. Even though it's the same size as she is. More splash pad fun.

She's been staying awake more often during the day but it's still a daily goal of mine to try and keep her awake before bed and periodically throughout the day in hopes for better night sleeps :) I'm thinking ill start working in a routine for her in about a week. Most of it is probably inappropriate and we have to hide our laughter but man this kid is funny AND handful! We'll just go ahead and say he takes after his Father! He really loves his sister though. All day long all I hear his him call her, "sweetie" and "sweet heart" and say, "Raya is so sweet" or "she's the prettiest girl." Just melts my heart! How does he even find these things?
