Follow the construction of the JL&T Railroad, a HO single deck, proto-freelanced layout set in the 70s to 80s, based on the Reading Lines and Conrail merger era. Reading Lines GP35 #3647. Wednesday, 22 July 2015. Installing the Fascia's and Fascia Panels. Continuing on from the L&T Branch fascia and upper valance install I am still using 3mm (1/8") MDF for the fascia. The ability of the MDF to form curves around corners, it's light weight and cheap cost make it a perfect material to use as a fascia.

Archive for January, 2010. January 7, 2010. It’s the start of a new year, new decade and hopefully a new layout soon. I haven’t been able to get a lot of work done recently, too many other things kept popping up on my schedule instead of the railroad. I have been able to continue to collect rolling stock, locomotives and everything else that I will need to build the layout. RCT&HS Home Page. The Scotty Mason Show. Archive for February, 2010. February 5, 2010. I just returned from my first trip to the Amherst Hobby Show, also known as the Springfield show which is held every year around the end of January in West Springfield, MA. This was my first time making the trip up there (around 4 hours from home), but since I knew a lot of people who were going to be there I decided to go. I made a couple purchases at the show which lead into my first projects for 2010. 3) Kato SD45 – Found a Reading Kato SD45 at one o...
