Demonic Panthers | Reasonably Ludicrous

Tag Archives: Demonic Panthers. October 26, 2014 · 10:52 pm. Oops, I Got a Screenwriting Degree! This morning, I woke up to a horrifying realization. Wait, wait. Let me try that again:. INT APARTMENT THAT’S NOT RUSS’S BECAUSE HE’S HOMELESS DAY. RUSS NICKEL (20s) tosses and turns on a fold-out IKEA futon. Wearing only boxers, his shaved head does little to hide his bald spot, and he grinds away at his adult retainer like a madman. What have I done? Graduate school offers post-adolescents like me the oppor...

Tag Archives: old people. April 13, 2015 · 2:42 pm. I’m sure most of you, oh classy and attractive readers, have had to move at least once in your classy and attractive lives. I know I have! In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ve moved 17 times in the last 8 years. But each of those moves was a cake walk compared to the most move-y of all moves, the one move to move them all, the move when I was dispelled from the warm, fuzzy, warmth-fuzz of higher education into the cold, spiky, ice-spikes of real life. It was t...

Tag Archives: chihuahuas barely clinging to life. April 13, 2015 · 2:42 pm. I’m sure most of you, oh classy and attractive readers, have had to move at least once in your classy and attractive lives. I know I have! Get ready for it. These were the scariest, hairiest, bare-(it-all)-iest prostitutes I’d ever seen, and believe me, when I say a prostitute is frightening, you can trust me, because I know pretty much nothing about prostitution. It was the jankiest, skankiest, rank-(it-low)-iest parking lot I’d...

Diamond in the Rough, a.k.a. WTF, Disney? | Reasonably Ludicrous
http://reasonablyludicrous.com/2015/06/11/diamond-in-the-rough-a-k-a-wtf-disney
June 11, 2015 · 8:47 am. Diamond in the Rough, a.k.a. WTF, Disney? You’ve heard the phrase. A diamond in the rough. Somebody who’s full of potential but has a coarse exterior. But what do you think the phrase means in a literal sense? I’ll tell you what I thought. My entire life, I was under the impression it meant a diamond buried deep in the ground that needed to be unearthed, a gem hidden below the surface that could be brought to the fore. Is that what you thought too? You’re a freakin’ chamillionaire.

The Nine Alignments of Movies. Tag Archives: Ian McKellan. December 17, 2012 · 4:49 pm. The Hobbit: An Unexciting Journey. The best part of the journey is out of the theater. Long fucking journey of ultimate boredom? So many options. My drive to the theater was more entertaining than this film, and I listened to Christmas Music. And I so wanted The Hobbit. To be good. That’s the problem. All of us have seen The Lord of the Rings. All of us love The Lord of the Rings. The Hobbit: An Uninspired Journey.

I have limited access to the use of a 3-D printer and I've recently tried to make some original designs for use with my various action figures. One of my most notable attempts was to create a small "stage" to use as an environment to just take simple photos of the figures. Not good. Not good at all. As the paint dried, it kind of shriveled and distorted the wall section and the floor panel. Ugh. Oh, that's good!

Reasonably Literate | Thinking Clearly and Writing Lucidly
Thinking Clearly and Writing Lucidly. July 17, 2015. I’ve been eating much more healthily lately. Losing weight quite rapidly, to the point where my pants are falling down embarassingly and even the unpleated ones are pleating now when I put on my belt. Part of that is buying more veggies (and eating them, of course). So I was a regular at the Best Yet Market on my route home. Great selection of produce, reasonable prices, clean, nice staff. And now I can’t buy from them. 8220;Detox With Food! And how on...

Reasonably Opinionated
Commentary on how things would be if everyone were reasonable. Monday, April 22, 2013. Making TDD Fun with Auto-running tests. I attended a great talk by Toby Ho (@airportyh) this weekend at CoderFaire Atlanta about making TDD fun. He's written a nifty little terminal app called testem. That auto-runs your tests whenever you save code files. He does his coding split-screen, and every time he saves a source file the tests instantly re-run. If you aren't seeing errors in the testem window, it's probably be...
