Nope, not just now. Last night, I went to the Long Now. Ken Dychtwald on the consequences of human life extensions, and the like. Relatively short-term stuff, and relatively standard content, but he's a good speaker. Turns out. Is involved with Long Now. but not that particular night. Maybe next time. looks like. And I are going to be going to this sort of thing on a regular basis. After that, it was a party at the home of. Snogging shamelessly, I might add. :-). Wow, look at all those lj user=" tags!

Hoppes Homestead Learning Academy. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Been a few days. Saturday night, storms came through and destroyed the shooting gallery. (As well as tents, a gas station sign, knocked down trees and power lines, etc.) We were on high alert stand-by for quite a few hours. Thankfully, the storms passed, the electric company was quick on repairs, and we were able to get a few hours sleep before going back to the festival the next day. From being a first responder, the bag gets turned in.

Hoppes Homestead Learning Academy. Friday, August 12, 2011. Today, Charlie has an appointment in Springfield to have his feet and walk looked at. Hopefully, he is fine and I am just being hyper paranoid and he is just being lazy with his shoes.
