Cook ground beef, onion and salt. Drain. Spread in greased 9-in pie plate. Sprinkle with cheese. Stir remaining ingredients with fork until blended. Pour into plate. Taken from the "Fix-it and Forget-it Cookbook". 1 tsp garlic powder. 2 - 2 1/2 c. ketchup. 1/2 c brown sugar. 1 T hickory flavored liquid smoke. 1 cup of onions. I made this with coleslaw and it was yummy. Of course the kids don't like coleslaw, so I gave them carrot sticks instead. With school and other activities starting up, the slow cooker is a big help.
