Bacon Potato Corn Chowder. 1 lb thick cut bacon, chopped small. 2 onions, diced small. 1 head of celery, chopped. 5 or 6 carrots, peeled and chopped. 4 c chicken broth. 2 c milk (I used whole, but anything will do). 6-7 medium potatoes, diced. 1 bag frozen corn (about 4 cups). Pinch cayenne pepper (optional). Black pepper (bacon is usually salty enough, so I didn't add salt).

Friday, October 19, 2012. Is there anything more fun than tossing freshly fallen leaves in the Autumn air? I have been wanting to get out and take some pics of the kids! This morning after breakfast I got them all dressed somewhat color coordinated! We headed out the door immediately afterwards and headed towards our local Middle Canyon! We found a vacant camp ground with tons of leaves! The kids enjoyed throwing and running through the many leaves! There is a pumpkin patch in Erda! Picked out 6 pumpkins!
